Okay, I personally love dragons (skeiths, cerpulls, etc.) But don’t they seem the perfect enemy? Also, Part one says that Chias are stupid, but the other parts say different. I tend to be a long writer, but this isn’t too long for me. Please don’t be offended by anything, if you are, then don’t read it! There are some twists, so there’s nothing much to be offended about in the end. If it’s too gruesome – sorry! That’s what war is about!

No More Laughing - A Neopian war story

PART ONE CHAPTER TWO - NEW LOOK

A large creature, never before seen in Neopia was walking through the woods. She had a long tail, bluish reddish scales and muscles rippling as she walked. Her head was weirdly shaped, two long, sharp horns growing between delicate ears. Her eyes were purple, with gold specks. She had many sharp teeth sticking awkwardly out of her mouth. She walked upright holding a huge, wooden mallet made from the stump of a redwood. Her name was Chaldern. All in all, she was a classic dragon.

PART ONE, CHAPTER THREE – ON THE MARCH

"REVENGE!!!!!! KILL KILL KILL!!!" The cerpull captain roared out a heart quaking battle cry. "TONIGHT WE ATTACK! WE BRING PRISONORS FOR SLAVES! WE KILL THE STRONG AND TAKE THE WEAK! WE TAKE REVENGE ON THE LAST ATTACK! WE GIVE NO QUARTER!! The other cerpulls, scorichos and skieths laughed and screamed back: "WE KILL THE STRONG AND TAKE THE WEAK! REVENGE!!!!! KILL KILL KILL!!!" The cerpull captain smiled evilly. "Good. Now, prepare. Cerpulls, I’d like to see every one of you armed with a rainbow flash. Skeiths, lightning guns will do. Scorchios, bubbles beams will be your attack. Teeth and claw are even better. March in lines by two. Yes, nice. Now – now we go to take revenge! To the Shadow Meadows!" They marched, screaming their battle cry – "REVENGE!!!! KILL KILL KILL!!!"

PART ONE, CHAPTER FOUR – UNSEEN ENEMYS

In the peaceful Shadow Meadows, a blue uni named Donder frolicked among the flowers, enjoying the sunny spring day. Her friend, Tivolayne the yellow uni joined her as they raced around the perimeter of the large field. They had no worries about the war as they considered themselves sheltered and safe in the hidden meadow.

Tivolayne stopped to nibble at a daisy and looked thoughtfully at Donder. "Jolly good flowers today, my lass, wot wot? I’d say the daisies are rather spiffin’ old bean!" Donder giggled. "Oh, I don’t know – Maybe they’d have been better if ya hadn’t spread your bloody ol’ spit on them!" He made a face. "I say, dear! Now, don’t go insultin’ a proper gentlemen eating his brunch!" "Scoffing, you mean." "Scoffing?! I, let me kindly point out have never scoffe – " His sentence was cut off as something from behind grabbed the uni and took him away. "I say!" Donder went bounding after the giant. "Please sir, do put him down!" The thing looked at Donder with golden eyes and an evil grin.

She froze in horror at the sight of the large skeith. There was a sickening crack and he dropped Tivolayne to the forest floor. "Of course, lassie!" Donder screamed and bolted up, back to the meadows. The skeith laughed and moved out of sight. Tivolayne’s eyes rolled back as he took his last breath – his neck had been broken.

Donder ran wide-eyed back through the village. "ATTACK! UNI KILLED! SKEITH HERE!" She then galloped to her own hut and quickly got her amour on. Others were doing the same. Donder reared, the shock was over, now she was ferocious! Uni can be very tough when they need to be. When all was ready, they charged into the woodland, away from their peaceful villages and into war.
